Juniors brighten up a dull evening in Buttevant

Juniors progress to the County semi-final after a blistering performance against Buttevant in the County quarter final on Sunday evening last. 
The game open with both teams getting off to a flying start, the Banteer attack proved sharper converting any opportunity to come their way, as well as, adding to the tally with vital scores from frees. A goal for Banteer added some daylight between the sides heading for the break with the half time score 1-7 to no score. 
On resumption Banteer continued to be a handful for the Buttevant defence, adding another two points before Buttevant registered their first score.
As a unit Banteer's work rate proved to much for Buttevant running out winners on a score line of Banteer 4.13 Buttevant 1.01.

Banteer now find themselves in the last four along with Castlelyons, Ballinora and Millstreet. Semi-Final draws are yet to be made
