The camogie club was well represented at this years Puc Fada.

The juvenile competition(age u16 and down). This category displayed great talent with entrants as young as u8, all in a bid to get their hand on the title. Caroline Barry of Nadd took out right honors, showing great strength over her six shots. Caroline is a member of our u16 team and has been a playing camogie with Banteer since the club was formed!

The Junior competition (over 16) saw some great striking from all involved, but the was no disputing the winner as Jennifer Lynch show her strength to secure her hands on the title, the day wasn't over yet for the Tracton star, as she took on a pick of Banteer's finest hurlers in the Crossbar Challenge. Lynch's accuracy proved to much for entrants, beating off close competition from Kevin Tarrent and Ger Mannix!!
