Preparations are underway for final

Our Junior team are back in the County league final after a convincing win over St Fanahans in the semi-final played recently in Kilbrin. They will now face Millstreet in the final which, as always, anticipates to be another epic battle.

Banteer were defeated in last years league final against Charleville and have put in tremendous effort this year under new management of Donal Roche, Damien Kearney and selector Angela Murphy First Aid Eileen O Donoghue, in hope of going one step further this time round. The Squad has gone from strength to strength thanks to the efforts from all players attending training.

Millstreet are a very strong side with a number of inter-county players on their side and will no doubt be out to get back on top.

This is a huge achievement for the Banteer side with only their second year fielding a junior team they have reached their second consecutive league final.

The Final is now fixed for Tuesday 17th, with time and venue yet to be fixed

Best of luck to all involved!!!
