Conor is steeped in Banteer/Lyre GAA recent history, having represented his club in both codes during his playing career. Conor did not hang is hat on this, he continued to coach underage teams in the last number of years, and later turned his hand to officiating where is currently the Chairman of the Banteer club. He currenly represents the club ever so well on the national stage as the man in charge in many high profile games.

The award was testament to his achievements in 2013 when he refereed the Connacht Senior Football Final, the All-Ireland Minor Football Final, the County Senior Football Final and the Munster Senior Club Football Final, as well as a number of high profile National League games and ended the year in charge of the International Rules Series.
We are extremely proud of Conors' achievements to date and continue to wish him and his team of officials well for 2014.
