The football and hurling finals in the Banteer/Lyre GAA Street Leagues were played in Banteer Astro on Sunday last. Lyre took on Gortmore/Mountain Road in the football final after both teams were the top two through the group stages. This game was played at a really high intensity as the men from Lyre prevailed on 10-6 score line. In the hurling decider near neighbors Clonmeen took on The Village. This was a game that went all the way to the final whistle. The Village coming out on top 9-7. Photos and report have been uploaded |
