Things are well underway in the Juvenile club with many teams into their league campaigns. On Saturday last the U10 footballers took on Sliabh Luchra in Kiskeam and all these young players did very well on their first outing. Later on the U14 footballers were unlucky to miss out to Dromtariffe as were the minor footballers who were to lose out to Doneraile in Banteer. Training continues for all groups and the club looks forward to the beginning of the Hurling season. Upcoming fixtures: 3/4/17 U12 Football v Milford away 18:45, 6/4/17 Minor Hurling v Ballyhea away 18:45, 8/4/17 U16 Hurling v Buttevant at home 11:00. Any player wishing to purchase a new Mycro helmet through the GAA scheme (cost of helmet €35) can contact Willie O Neill on 085 8625994 to place the order. Over the coming weeks the Juvenile Club will be involved in the selling of the sports field draw tickets and we would ask parents to support the club in this. |
