On Monday the 13th the minor hurlers defeated Clyda Rovers in their non-exam semi final on a scoreline of 2:15 to 1:10 and went on to meet Newcestown on Monday last in the final. The U15’s were due to play Fermoy on Wednesday and a report from both these matches will follow next week.

The U14 footballers travelled to Kildorerry for a league football game last week with the bulk of the team still U12 and despite losing this they performed very well. The u13 Hurlers travelled to Doneraile on Saturday last to take on the local lads and the Banteer boys were to come away from this with a well deserved win

The u12 group have performed very well in both Hurling and Football this year, and were to finish first and second respectively in their grading league. This now means that they compete in the top grade for the rest of this year and undoubtedly there will be stern tests ahead for this group but have no doubt, this group will not be found wanting for desire and commitment.

The annual Cul Camp is due to take place from the 4th to the 8th of July and placesare still available. Any questions call John O Leary on 087 2539408.
