A tough encounter for Lyre this weekend with an away game to Cullen, so Lyre had to be up for it.

From then on Lyre struggled and were chasing the game. It took 6 minutes for Lyre to get their opening score and it came from Brian O'Driscoll and soon after Timmie Murphy added to that with a free.
